Hear From Our Faculty

Hello, my name is Dr. Matt Nelson. I’m the Dean of the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences at 爆料公社.

Online education in that area falls under the field of psychology, and psychology is a field that is wide open for people. If you are interested in working with individuals or groups, or if you plan to be a leader in teamwork environments, having a psychology background is really a beneficial area.

We find that psychology has lots of application examples. People with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology can pursue areas in business, business management, business human resources, training, and development.

People in the psychology world might also find themselves working in services like fire departments. I know that sounds odd, but people dealing with emergencies are in crisis, and psychology is a benefit there. People working in law enforcement—the risk of working with criminal minds—is a very psychologically based concept.

Sales and advertising is another area that people get involved in, drawing on the creative mind that comes from psychology. Of course, social work and social services are areas as well.

Finally, if you’re interested in doing additional education—graduate education beyond your bachelor’s—you could study either master’s-level clinical mental health counseling or doctoral-level training to become a psychologist.

In those fields, you are doing clinical professional work as licensed professionals by the state. Those are important fields and exciting fields to be in, and frankly, with so much stress and challenge in society, those fields are needed more than ever.

We look forward to having you join us in this adventure as you study at 爆料公社.

Exciting times for you. God bless you.
